Creekside Pet Crematory is a local, family-owned pet aftercare facility founded in 2008 by Jamie Pyne. From the beginning, Creekside has offered traditional cremation services direct to families and to veterinarians.
As an established professional in the industry, Jamie recognized that families were seeking more choices in how they honor their companions. Today, Creekside is proud to be the only facility in the region offering both traditional cremation and aquamation—giving families meaningful options rooted in care, trust, and environmental responsibility.
At Creekside, we honor every pet with dignity, compassion, and respect—because we know they’re not just animals, they’re family. When you entrust your companion to our care, we walk with you every step of the way, offering gentle guidance and unwavering integrity.
With over 18 years of dedicated service, our reputation is built on trust, transparency, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right—for pets, for families, and for the planet.
At Creekside Pet Crematory, our mission is to provide compassionate, dignified aftercare for beloved animal companions, honoring the deep bond between pets and their families. We are committed to offering affordable, transparent, and environmentally conscious services, including both traditional cremation and aquamation.
As a family-owned facility, we walk alongside grieving families ensuring every farewell is personal, heartfelt, and rooted in trust. Our work is more than a service—it’s a promise to care for your companion as if they were our own.
Jamie Pyne is the owner and operator of Creekside Pet Crematory & Aquamation, a family run pet aftercare facility serving Southcentral Pennsylvania since 2008.
He founded Creekside with a simple belief: pets deserve dignity, and families deserve honesty and care during one of life’s hardest moments. Over the years, he has built Creekside into a trusted local resource—known for transparency, gentle guidance, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Jamie oversees every step of the aftercare process himself, ensuring that each pet is treated with the same respect he would want for his own. Under his leadership, Creekside has expanded to offer both traditional cremation and aquamation, becoming the region’s only facility to provide families with both meaningful options in their pet’s final care.

Shawn O’Neal, a local glass artist, partnered with Creekside Pet Crematory in 2012. Shawn’s passion for glass working was reignited when he began combining cremation ash with his art, giving new purpose and meaning to his craft. Each memorial piece is unique and made especially for the family—whether it’s to honor a turtle, snake, chicken, cat, or dog. Shawn’s goal is always to do justice to lost loved ones and to provide families with a lasting tribute that brings comfort and remembrance.
“Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the journey and for trusting me with such meaningful work.”
